Jana Bent Song on NA Radio CD

You so fine, the latest
pop single by local solo artiste, Jana Bent, is poised
to make a major breakthrough on the North American,
United Kingdom and European markets, after being
selected for release to major Rhythm Radio stations.
The song, which has been
receiving high rotation on Jamaican Radio stations
was produced by Rupert Bent III on the Gypsy Music
label, and features Herbie Harris of the Third World
Band.
You so fine, was included
on the Rhythm Radio July 2001 compilation CD, and
released by the Florida based company, Promo Only USA,
to all major rhythmic stations across the United States,
as well as to subscribing club deejays around the world.
Promo Only Canada will
release the song in Canada on September 7, and Promo
Only UK in United Kingdom and Europe in October.
Other artistes appearing
on the US compilation include Destiny's Child, R Kelly,
Tu Pac, Lil Romeo and Mary J. Blige.
Selections on the
Canadian 'Promo Only' CD includes singles from 'NSync,
Eden's Crush, Tamia, Jamiroquai and Eiffel 65, while the
UK and Europe CD will include new singles by R Kelly, P
Diddy, Mary J Blige, Jagged Edge, Allure and the Young
Gunz.
A worldwide company,
Promo Only selections are made separately in each
country from thousands of new songs sent to them from
new and established artistes worldwide. Making the
monthly selection is based strictly on the hit potential
of the song.
As an independent
company, Promo Only is not controlled by the labels, and artistes
such as Jana Bent, have as much chance as their
internationally established counterparts, to get their
work selected for the compilation, provided it has hit
potential. The CD's are issued monthly and comprise the
latest single from artistes. Major record labels use the
CD as a promotional tool for new products.
Jana and her producer
brother, Rupert Bent III have been in Canada over the
past two weeks marketing the song to record companies,
radio stations and club deejays.
