Jana Bent Releases Second Single
– "Shadow Girl"
Following on her summer
smash hit, "You So Fine", Jamaican born singer
songwriter, Jana Bent, of the Kingston-based label Gypsy
Music, released her second single, "Shadow
Girl" today, to radio stations across Jamaica. The
track is a driving dance/pop song with a strong reggae
bass line and guitar riff, produced by Rupert Bent III
for Gypsy Music.
A reggae remix of the
track is also expected to come from Jeremy Harding of
2Hard Records, who also did the highly successful
"Who Am I (Sim Simmer)" by Beenie Man, and an
urban remix of "You So Fine" which is also
currently receiving international airplay.
"You So Fine"
was added to a number of international compilation
albums this summer and fall. In addition the track was
recently playlisted to reggae radio stations and shows
in the US and UK.
